Send Approval Requests

Sending Prompts

There are multiple ways to initiate approval prompts depending on your operational strategy and technical preferences.

With Company Person Decision

Prompts can be automatically sent with each "company-person-decision" request by adding the query parameter approval=true to your API call. This will trigger the prompt as part of the decision process flow. If a link between company and person can be established, a prompt is delivered to the user to continue further in the flow.

Directly Using the API

For direct control over when and how prompts are sent, refer to our API documentation. You can craft custom requests to manage the approval process precisely how you need.

Prompt Delivery Method

Before prompts can be dispatched, ensure that your email templates and SMS message content are properly defined. The definition is currently not possible as self-service and requires help from our support.

Look and feel

Email templates and SMS message content must be defined before prompts can be sent.

Email

Template

To create and tailor email templates meet your requirements, collaborate with Entercheck support. They will help set up the templates that will be used for sending prompts.

Sending Domain

Emails can be sent either from the Entercheck domain or from your custom domain. The choice depends on your branding strategy and the domain configuration.

User awareness

Please make sure to inform users in advance, so they are aware that they’ll receive an email associated with your service.

SMS

SMS is a direct and typically effective delivery method for prompts. Be aware that setup for SMS delivery entails specific approvals.

warning

SMS delivery requires specific approval from our SMS provider, which may take time to be granted.

Identification

An advanced feature allows the initiation of strong Nordic identification in conjunction with the prompt. Recipients will be guided via email to complete identification at a service provider's site. The identification results are then matched against the details they have provided earlier.

This feature is sensitive due to the access to personal identification information (PII) and is only available within Nordic countries.

danger

Use of strong Nordic identification mechanisms should be carefully considered due to the sensitive nature of accessing PII information.

Remember that implementing prompt delivery and identification features into your system necessitates adherence to strict privacy regulations and user consent protocols.
